On Tuesday, one of our awesome parents is purchasing pizza for the whole school! Please don't forget we will dismiss at 12:30 on Tuesday!

There will be no chess club next week due to our shortened week for Thanksgiving. We will start back the following Monday.

I've had some parents asking for help with ACE on their end. This is what I received from them this afternoon.

Good afternoon! We had a great time visiting with our grandparents this morning! Tomorrow we will have mass beginning at 8:15. We will have staff in the church helping grandparents to their assigned pews. Students will first report to homeroom and then come to the church to be seated with their grandparents at 8:05.
Due to the use of the Hall for Grandparent's Day, lunch will be served in classrooms tomorrow.

During the month of November, the Catholic Church devoutly prays for the faithful departed. We honored this devotion at SMS by visiting the Old Ripley Cemetery today, with first-eighth graders. We were blessed with beautiful weather and great conversation. Some discussions were centered around the Revolutionary War because three veterans are buried in the historical graveyard. It was great to spend our morning with our beloved veterans of the community and continue this lesson throughout the school day. Ask your students about their day, it was packed with adventures in learning!

Due to the funeral of St. Michael Parishioner Tom Crowley, the Parish Hall will not be available for lunch service this Friday, October 27. We ask that all students pack lunches that day. We will have supplies for sandwiches in the office in case anyone forgets their lunch. Thank you for understanding.
