Frisbee golf and tetherball are all set up and ready to go now! Big thanks to Mr. Frebis for digging the holes, and pouring the concrete to make our outdoor time more fun!

The Harvest Dinner and Cake Auction is scheduled for Sunday, November 5. We have had a lot going on, and have gotten a late start in the planning of this event. If you are able or would like to pitch in and help me with this event, please contact me by the end of the week. I have some ideas, and I will be happy to get things done on my end, but I'm going to need some help on this. We made around $4,000 last year, mostly from the cake auction. I'm definitely open to new ideas. Thank you!

6th-grade pumpkin carving to usher in autumn 🎃

This form was sent home last week. If anyone would like to order a calendar from the Ripley Women's Club, its not too late! Just send the money in an envelope with your name and labeled "Women's Club". Thank you.

Fifth and Sixth Grade Families: Just a reminder that students will have their first social studies test on Tuesday, October 10th. This test will include the Mid Atlantic states that they have been studying. A study guide was given out last week. Secondly, we're planning another "states and snacks" party to celebrate knocking out another unit. We're planning to do this on Wednesday. If you can help on this, please shoot me an email. harrison.pedigo@stmichaelripley.com Thank you so much for all of your help, and congratulations to your students for all of their hard work!

6th Grade Families:
We finished reading "My Side of the Mountain" today - what a great journey! I just wanted to clarify that the upcoming essay is not meant to be homework. We will have time to knock it out in class, and I'm lenient with the due date. Your students are working very hard in both of my classes - I'm trying to keep homework to a minimum.
God bless,
Mr. Pedigo

Good luck to our students showing projects at the fair! Please send us pictures!

Just a heads up, row 3 (where we will be) is back in the elementary parking lot on the side closest to the baseball field.

Fifth and Sixth Grade families,
Thank you for your responses to our New England states "party" tomorrow; I really appreciate your help! Shareable dishes can be sent in with your student(s) or dropped off at the office. Note: we have a few students with peanut allergies in our class. Again, I really appreciate your help and the hard work of your students!
