5/6/7/8- spent last week learning about genetics, chromosomes, and DNA. This week the Cincinnati Observatory will visit on Monday, students will perform a Photosynthesis Lab on Tuesday, a Respiration Lab on Thursday to prepare the 5/8th grade for Ohio Science testing next week.

Spring Dance
The annual SMS Spring Dance will be held Friday, April 26, in the Parish Hall, beginning at 6:00pm and ending at 8:00 pm. This dance is open to all SMS students in grades 5 through 8. Each student may bring one guest. Any guests must also be in grades 5-8. The theme is "Rodeo Disco". Pizza, chips, pop and cookies will be will be provided and the dance will be chaperoned by SMS staff members.
