It's hard to believe, but Catholic Schools Week is right around the corner! Each year, St. Michael School joins Catholic Schools all over the country to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. The CSW 2021- 2024 theme is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.” Catholic schools have a specific purpose to form students to be good citizens of the world, love God and neighbor and enrich society with the leaven of the gospel and by example of faith.

Catholic Schools Week kicks off on Sunday, January 29. We invite all of our students to attend any of our weekend masses (St. Mary 4:00, St Michael 9:00 am, St. George 12:00pm), and wear their uniforms to show our SMS pride! SMS 8th graders will speak at each of the masses, giving their testimony of the importance of Catholic Schools, and the impact SMS has had on their lives. Following the 9:00am mass at St Michael in Ripley, we will have an open house at the school until noon. All are welcome to tour the school and meet our staff.
