Immaculate Conception

The Immaculate Conception is a celebration of Mary within the church and is a holy day of obligation for all Catholics. This occurs every year on December 8th.  We’ll be celebrating as a school on Thursday, December 8th by starting the day off with a Mass at 8:15, followed by crafts and baby shower games themed after Anne’s pregnancy with Mary. We would like to give each student a cupcake during the “shower”.  If you would be willing to provide some for your child’s homeroom please reach out to us. The cupcakes would need to be vanilla with white icing to symbolize Mary’s purity.  Thanks for everything that you do for SMS.
