These are the results of the 2022 St. Michael School individual class spelling bee. Classroom spelling bees were held in grades 3-8 this past week. Following are the top three spellers in each grade:
3 rd grade – Weston Wireman, La’Vaya Stevens, Natalie Burns
4 th grade – Grace Puckett, Josie Sentney, Kowin Offutt
5 th grade – Easton Swearingen, Ashleigh Boldman, Ella Seip
6 th grade – Laynee Hamilton, Makynli Hauke, Garrett Lewis
7 th grade – Leah Seip, Ava Arn, Miah Santoro
8 th grade – Will Dragoo, Theo Lovett, Lincoln MacRae
Each student was given a list of words to study for the school spelling bee. The school spelling bee will be on Dec. 13 at 12:45pm in the St. Michael Parish Hall. The 5-8 grade winner will continue on to the Brown County Spelling Bee. The overall winner will participate in the Scripps Spelling Bee.
