Father Amberger and Mr. Pedigo have been reading J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit with our 7th and 8th graders in Language Arts class. The discussions in these classes have been fantastic and led to the idea of Father and Mr. Pedigo to go even deeper, and sharing it online., with the ultimate goal leading to an actual curriculum in which the Catholic genius of Tolkien will be illustrated through his work.
