Mr. Hyde's7th- 8th grade JUMP class is beginning this 2nd half of the first Trimester by starting a state-wide competition called the Stock Market Game. They will learn about our Economy, why company's want to use stock to raise capital and then get $100,000 in teams of two to compete by investing in the stock market, where they can view their investment portfolio each day. Also being discussed is why investing is important both for the individual and for the economy as a whole.
