St. Michael has been blessed over the past three years to have such a great relationship with an incredible company in our own back yard.
SMS received a grant from International Paper for $6000 in 2020 to help with our paper needs, $6,000 last year to help pay for upgrades to the playground, and this year $10,000 to help with the concrete project at the school which will connect our buildings, creating safe walkways between the two buildings.
These are projects that we would never have been able to do without the generosity of our friends at IP.
Today we also discussed the idea of St Michael students visiting IP to learn more about the paper making process, and possible careers at IP. International Paper also donated gift bags for our older students heading into fair break.
