Every month, each student who either reads a minimum of 18 books, or has had at least 18 books read to him/her, becomes a member of the Kindergarten Read-Aloud Club for that month and receives a prize. The prize for April is a complete picnic lunch provided by me. I love spending quality time with the winners, so the group size is kept small. There will be a total of three picnics. Yesterday was the first picnic, and although it was overcast and quite chilly, everyone had a wonderful time!
