On Wednesday, May 11 our 7th & 8th grade students will continue a SMS tradition when we travel by bus to Great American Ballpark to watch the Reds play the Milwaukee Brewers. We will leave SMS around 10:30 am, and arrive at the stadium between 11:30 and noon. The game starts at 12:35. Although the tickets and bus are paid for, students will be responsible for any food they wish to purchase, and the stadium remains cashless. Small, soft-sided coolers are allowed and unopened bottles and snacks are allowed to be brought in to the stadium, again I would encourage you to check out the stadium rules.
We will head back when the game is over, likely between 4:00 and 5:00, but we will send messages via text and our app to let you know when we are getting close. This trip has traditionally been one of the more memorable ones for our students and we are looking forward to a great day.
