Congratulations to our 11 students who competed in the District Science Fair! All of our students received "superior" ratings and have qualified to compete in the Ohio State Science Day!
The students are: Addison O'Connor, Alyssa Seip, Gabrielle Ernst, Sydney Arn, Gunner Ernst, Will Dragoo, Allie Depenbrock, Ava Arn, Sadie Strunk, Griffin Ernst, and Makynli Hauke.
This is the most state qualifiers in the history of SMS, which will also allow us to compete for the Shaw Award which is an award for the entire school!
We are very proud of these students hard work on their projects and presentation skills. Huge thank you also to Mrs. Dragoo who put in countless hours behind the scenes to help students with their projects and getting the required paperwork in for each student.
There is a fee for State Science Day. If there is a business who would like to sponsor our students who will be representing SMS at Ohio State Science Day, please let us know in the office as soon as possible. Thank you!
