Test time is coming up. On Wednesday, March 9 our students in grades 2, 5 and 8 will take the CoGat test. This test will take most of the morning.
Our students in grades 3-8 will take the IOWA tests on Thursday, March 10, Tuesday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 16. The tests will be taken in the morning on each of those days. These tests are used to help us understand where our students need extra help, and areas that we need to improve as a school. They do not count as grades, and certainly should not be anything for anyone to stress about. However, in order for us to get an accurate view of our school, it is important for our students to be present and do their best. Please do not schedule any appointments for those days, as making up these tests are very difficult to make up and would cause students to miss important instructional time. Please also make sure students get a good night's sleep and a good breakfast.
In the past we have also asked for snack donations for our students. If you are able to donate healthy snacks for test week it would be appreciated. Just drop them off in the office. Thank you!
