Believe it or not, today was the 100th day of school! The kindergartners were given the choice of coming to school dressed as a 100-year old person, or wearing a special 100th day shirt designed with their family. During the day, they enjoyed listening to stories about the 100th day of school, writing in their Writer's Notebook about something they would like to have 100 of, playing the "Race to 100" game, and doing 100 exercises. The celebration ended with a special snack made by combining the 100 different treats(marshmallows, Cheez Its, M & M's, pieces of cereal, etc.) that each child brought in. This group of kindergartners is definitely 100 days smarter!
