Catholic Schools Week 2022!
- Sunday, January 30 (Celebrating our Parish)
- SMS Families are encouraged to attend one of the three weekend masses. Students should wear uniforms.
- Saturday 4:00pm at St. Mary in Arnheim
- Sunday 9:00am at St. Michael in Ripley
- Sunday 12:00pm at St. George in Georgetown
- SMS 8th Graders Alyssa Seip, Kailen Offutt, and Gabrielle Ernst will speak at weekend masses, "The Value of Catholic Education".
- Open House at SMS from 10:00-12:00
- Monday, January 31

- Students may dress up- "what they want to be when they grow up"
- Prayer for Vocations at SMS Morning Prayer
- (Vocations speaker visiting on Thursday)
- Tuesday, February 1 (Celebrating Our Nation)
- Students may wear red, white, and blue or patriotic clothing
- SMS Family Feud!
- Wednesday, February 2 ( Celebrating Our Students)
- Students may wear SMS Spiritwear
- Students will go bowling at Town & Country Lanes in Aberdeen
- Thursday, February 3 (Celebrating Our Community)
- Students may dress in their favorite team gear (Bengals, Buckeyes, Reds, etc)
- Non-perishable food donation contest
- Each homeroom will compete to see who can donate the most non-perishable food items to St Vincent DePaul. The winning homeroom gets an ice cream party!
- Mother Seraphina of the Franciscan Daughters of Mary will speak to students about religious vocations
- Friday, February 4 (Celebrating Our Staff and Volunteers)
- Students in uniform
- 8th grade students will work with younger students on a special project
- This is also First Friday, there will be adoration following mass and benediction at the end of the day
