The SMS Gala will be held on Saturday January 30, at the Willow in Winchester, Ohio. Last year's Gala was a HUGE SUCCESS raising over $40,000 for our school, easily becoming our biggest and most important fundraiser.

Our fundraisers along with scholarships and SGO donations are what allows us to keep our tuition the most affordable in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and will hopefully lead to more opportunities for our students. Either way, every dime that is raised through our fundraisers, directly benefits your child.

Nearly everyone I talked to who was at the Gala last year, could not believe how nice everything was, and how much fun they had. I, myself had no idea how awesome it was going to be. For those of you who don't know, it is a big party celebrating our school. There will be a meal, drinks, music, raffles, auctions, prizes, casino games featuring Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Texas Hold Em. The best part for me though was the fellowship, and the opportunity for our families to get together and grow stronger as a school community.

If you were not able to go last year, I encourage you to talk to someone who did. I anticipate that this event will only grow, and be something that you look forward to every year! I know I have already had many people ask me when this year's Gala is!

I remember saying 11 years ago in my first speech at what was then called "meet and greet", "We have an opportunity to do something special here if we all work together." That has proven to be true, and with all of us working together, and the Grace of God, we can continue to make our school community the best possible environment for our children.

As a dad I have been appreciative to have the opportunity for my children to grow up in this environment, and I am honored to continue this important mission with each of you. Thank you for your support.
