Happy Friday SMS Families,

I won't take up too much of your time, but I wanted to let everyone know that Mr. Pedigo has decided to pursue a new teaching position and will not return to SMS this coming school year. We thank him for all he has done for our students over the years, and sincerely wish him all the best in his new pursuits.

We are excited to announce that Mr. Sam Linkous will be joining our team at SMS! Mr. Linkous is a former SMS student and 2022 graduate of Northern Kentucky University. He began his teaching career at Western Brown, and has taught history at Ripley High School for the past two years. He and his wife Carlee live in Georgetown with their son Ambrose and are active members of the Sacred Heart Parish. Mr. Linkous will teach 5-8 Social Studies as well as 7th and 8th grade ELA. Please help us welcome Sam Linkous to the SMS family!
