Happy Sunday SMS Families!
We had an awesome week at SMS last week full of Field Trips, Field Day, and Fun, hands-on learning. Thanks to everyone who came together to make last week one to remember for so many children! This week, we will wrap up the 2025-26 school year at SMS with some fun activities, while taking time to reminisce about the year that was. It goes so fast!

Monday is a relatively normal schedule, as each class will begin to wrap up their lessons for the year.
Tuesday is our 8th grade graduation. Both 7th grade and 8th grade students should be there for Graduation Mass and Passing the Light Ceremony which begins at 5:30. Following graduation, the 8th grade and their families are invited to the Parish Hall for graduation dinner. Students should wear "Sunday best" for Graduation Mass.
Also on Tuesday, is another awesome SMS tradition, the 8th grade walkout. All of the students in the school will line the halls of SMS and cheer on our 8th graders as they walk the halls one last time as students. 8th grade walkout begins at approximately 2:35. The event will be livestreamed on our FB Families page, but if parents would like to come watch in front of the school, you are welcome to do so!
Our preschool graduation is scheduled for Wednesday in the Parish Hall at 2:00 pm. Also on Wednesday, the newly graduated SMS students will spend the day at Kings Island!
Awards Day for grades K-7 is scheduled for Thursday afternoon in the Church. We will begin at 12:30, and it will likely go until the end of the school day. Although seating will be limited, parents are welcome to attend. This event will also be livestreamed on our private, FB families page.
Friday is the last day of school. The day will begin with our last school Mass of the 2025-26 school year. Afterward, we will return to homerooms, and make sure everything is turned in and stored properly. We will end with a pizza party in the school parking lot. Dismissal is at 12:30 and all buses should run at that time.
Please make sure all outstanding balances are paid this week. If you are not sure, please call the office and we will let you know if you have a balance. If you need help, call us at the school and we will do all we can to help.
