Field Day is set for Wednesday, May 13. Once again, the park we normally use, is not a great location due to construction, so this year we are going to try the park in Aberdeen. Preparations are underway, thanks to Ms. Cox, Mr. Hyde, Mrs. Bradley and our entire staff for preparing, and Meghan Huffman for once again setting up the obstacle course. We have already ordered t-shirts, and each student will receive a Kona Ice as well. Pizza for the day, for our students has been donated by an anonymous donor. We already have a few cases of water and small gatorades leftover from the DC trip, but if anyone would like to donated those, I'm sure we could use more. Parents, if you would like to volunteer and are Safe Parish approved, please let your child's teacher know.
This year we are asking parents to send in $10 per child to help with expenses from field day, which include their t-shirt and Kona Ice. If you would like to pay online, let me know and I will charge it to your account. Since we will be using the bus, please fill out the permission slip on OptionC.
This is one of the most fun days of the year, and we are looking forward to another great Field Day!
