One of our longest standing SMS traditions, and an event that our students look forward to for years, the SMS Day at the Ballpark, will take place Thursday, May 14. The 7th and 8th grade will leave school at approximately 10:30 am and head to Great American Ballpark with their classmates on the bus to watch the Reds take on the Washington Nationals. We will return after the game, which will likely be after school lets out. We will send a message out on our way back.
Students may wear Reds t-shirts or spiritwear with jeans or uniform shorts. Students should also bring money for food and drinks, but they are allowed to bring some food and drink items with them. Bottles cant be opened, and bags must fit inside a 16"x16"x8" box. Cash is not accepted at GABP, and I would suggest a prepaid credit card if you so choose.
Permission slips are available on OptionC and should be filled out as soon as possible. There will be no other costs associated with this field trip.
