Dear Parents,
We are excited to announce an upcoming field trip to R Farms in Maysville on October 14th for our students in grades K-2. This has become a fun, Autumn tradition at SMS over the past few years, with many great memories made!
Students will depart from the school by bus at approximately 9:00 AM and return around 1:30 PM. While at R Farms, we will divide the students into groups and engage in several enjoyable activities, including pumpkin picking. The cost for each student is $5.
Please fill out the online permission slip posted on OptionC, and send that money in to the school, or pay it on OptionC before October 14.
Parents who wish to attend must meet us at the farm and pay at the gate, as bus space is limited. If you would like to assist teachers in managing a group, we kindly ask that you are SAFE PARISH certified.
Dress code: Students may be out of uniform, and can wear old shoes or boots since we will be at the farm. We ask that students wear SMS spirit wear shirts with jeans.
We will have a picnic lunch during our visit, so please ensure your child brings a packed lunch for the day.
