Dear SMS Families,
Due to an overwhelming response to grandparents day, and lack of space in the Parish Hall, we will have to split our Thursday morning grandparent's day events into two separate times. If the child's last name begins with A-G, then grandparents should come to the Hall at 8:15. Grandchildren will meet them there. If the child's last name begins with H-Z, then the grandparents should come to the Hall at 9:45, and we will bring their grandchildren down to meet them.
Also as a result, we will change the lunch menu on Thursday to pizza, since Mrs. Caitlin will have both of these events taking up most of the morning. We will get pizza from Giovanni's here in town, and students who buy will be charged the normal lunch fee.
Friday is going to be an extremely tight fit, but we should have enough room for all those who signed up on time.
We apologize for any rescheduling you will have to do, but please abide by these guidelines as literally, there will not be enough room in the Hall to accommodate our grandparents and students. We want it to be a special day for our grandparents and students.
