Summer is almost here! Just a few more important days remaining in the 2024-25 school year. Of course, tomorrow is our annual Field Day. As we mentioned a few weeks back, we will have Field Day at the Kathryn Hanlon Park in Georgetown, due to the field conditions at our normal locations. Students should wear their Field Day shirts tomorrow, with appropriate shorts and gym shoes. It would probably be a good idea to have a towel as well as several events include water. We have Mass tomorrow, please make sure shorts are not too short. After Mass, we will begin transporting students to the park. We will have three different groups and everyone should be at the park before 11:00. The rest of the day is scheduled with events for our teams! If you plan to be at Field Day, and plan to take your child with you from the park, PLEASE make sure you sign them out with their homeroom teacher. If you are volunteering tomorrow, please check in with Mrs. Gaskin and she will direct you to the place to help. We will have lunch in shifts and Kona Ice will be there from 11:30 to 12:30. If you have not paid your field day fees, please remember to do that soon! Thanks to the Village of Georgetown for letting us use the park, thanks to the Georgetown Life Squad who will be on site for safety. Thanks to Megan Poole for getting our Field Day t-shirts so reasonably, as she does every year. Thanks to Susan Poole who is providing pizza for our students. Thanks to International Paper, who donated over 200 water bottles for the day. Finally, thanks to our staff and volunteers who will be working together tomorrow to make a fun and memorable Field Day for our children. It's going to be a great day!
Looking ahead at next week:
Monday- "Snowy Turtle" will be at school on Monday. I'm sure our students remember them from last year. Thanks to the Collins Family for providing this treat for our students!
