Good morning, and Happy Mother's Day weekend! This is an early edition of next week's newsletter, just so everyone can stay ahead!

If you are a mom and will be joining us today, feel free to come to morning prayer! We will begin in the church at 8:00. Students should be dropped off as normal, as they will go to homeroom, then come down to the Church for prayer. After prayer, students will be dismissed to briefly go back to their classrooms, and moms will be dismissed to the Parish Hall, and your children will meet you there. To help with organization because we have so many, there will be assigned seating in the Hall. Feel free to spend time with your children and have breakfast, all students should return to class no later than 9:50. If you are joining us tomorrow, Everything is the same, except we will have Mass instead of morning prayer, so Mass will go from 8:15, normally until around 9:15. Students will need to return to class Friday around 10:40. Special thanks to Zach Seip, Dorothy Snider, and Tim Davenport for volunteering and especially Caitlin Seip, Brian Nead, and Ashton Arn for going above and beyond to make all of this happen.

Please remember to pack your child's lunch on Friday for picnic day!

We will be sending home tuition and lunch/field trip balances on Friday. Please keep an eye out for them.

This is a reminder there will be no SMS bus in the afternoon on Friday.

If you are planning to order an SMS yearbook and are not on FB or have not seen the link to do that on FB, call the school office and we will help you out. Special thanks to Mrs. Noel who does a great job on our yearbook!

Looking ahead at next week:

  • We will continue testing on Monday and Tuesday.

  • On Wednesday our 8th grade will go to Kings Island!

  • Field Day is set for Friday at the park in Georgetown. If you have not yet sent in your $10 fees, please do that as soon as possible. If you signed up to volunteer, Mrs. Gaskin might be contacting you ahead of time.

Finally, thanks to everyone who made our teachers feel special this week in celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week.
