Good afternoon! Happy Palm Sunday, and welcome to Holy Week. Along with news about school events this week, we will also post some opportunities to that will be available for our community this, while we remember the passion and death of Jesus as we near Easter.
Huge thank you to everyone who made the fish fry and $10K Giveaway so successful. Together we raised over $60,000 for our school through these two fundraisers. Congratulations to SMS alumni Rose Rockey, this year's $10,000 winner!
We were informed late, last week that there is a great likelihood that there will be no water available in Ripley on Wednesday or Thursday of this week. RULH has already cancelled school on Wednesday and Thursday. To help with your planning, we are going to go head and cancel Thursday's scheduled half day, so NO SCHOOL THURSDAY, MARCH 28. I will be in daily contact with Brown County Rural Water regarding Wednesday. As of now we will have school on Wednesday. If something changes, you will receive a text from the school as soon as we know.

5/6 Field Trip to Pompeii, students should bring a sack lunch and $5 to help with the cost of the bus. Students may wear spirit wear with jeans (no holes, rips, or tears). Students will not be able to take cell phones on this trip. Any student who does not turn in permission slip will not be able to go.
