On Thursday, April 25 our 7th and 8th grade will continue the "SMS Day at the Ballpark" tradition. We will leave school around 10:30 and travel by bus to Great American Ballpark to watch the Reds take on the Phillies. We will return after the game, and will send a text from the school on the way back. Our alumni always tell me how they remember this day, and it is a tradition that we are happy to carry on.
Thanks to the Serra Club, we get a discounted ticket rate, so there will only be a $5 fee to help with bus/parking costs for students and since GABP is cashless, students should plan to bring pre-paid visa cards to make any purchases at the stadium. Permission slips are coming home April 16, and should be returned by April 19.
We are looking forward to making some awesome memories on April 25th! Go Reds!
