Sunday, January 28: SMS Celebrates Our Parishes

  • Students to give testimony- “What Catholic Schools Mean to Me”
    • St. Michael (9:00 am)
    • St. George (12:00 pm)
    • St. Mary (Sat- 4:00 pm)
  • Open House St Michael School (10:15am-1:00 pm)
  • All SMS Students are encouraged to attend any of the weekend masses in uniform

Monday, January 29: SMS Celebrates Our Community

  • Students may wear their favorite team gear- OSU, UK, Bengals, Reds, etc- (with blue jeans or school pants no shorts, no stretch pants, no holes in pants)
  • Pregnancy resource item drive
    • The homeroom with the most items for the pregnancy resource center will win an ice cream sundae party!
  • Write notes, make posters or decorate treat baskets to deliver to community leaders, local service organizations or businesses

Tuesday, January 30- SMS Celebrates Our Nation

  • 8th grade (in uniform) with Mr. Arn to CSW Mass at Cathedral
  • Students may wear Red, White & Blue- Patriotic clothing! (with blue jeans or school pants no shorts, no stretch pants, no holes in pants)
  • Saints B-I-N-G-O throughout the day!

Wednesday, January 31:  SMS Celebrates Our Students

  • Students may wear SMS Spirit Wear (with blue jeans or school pants no shorts, no stretch pants, no holes in pants)
  • Students will go bowling at Town & Country Lanes in Aberdeen (Students are asked to bring $5 to help with cost)
    • Drinks and Popcorn provided
    • (8:30-10:30) Preschool, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade
    • (10:30-12:30) 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade
    • (12:00-2:00) Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade
  • Students will be transported by the SMS bus!

Thursday, February 1- SMS Celebrates Families & Vocations

  • Students in uniform
  • Prayer for Vocations at morning prayer
  • Students will meet a current seminarian who will talk to them about recognizing vocations
    • K-2 (1:30-1:50)
    • 3-8 (2:00-2:30)
  • SMS Family Feud! (We will try to livestream it)

Friday, February 2: SMS Celebrates our Faculty, Staff and Volunteers

  • Students will dress in uniform (mass day)
  • Older students will work with younger students on a special project for teachers and volunteers
