Good Evening SMS Families
As I am sure some of you have heard, there has been a delay with our new modular unit. I have wanted to report something to you, but there has not been much to report as we have been at the mercy of the manufacturer and the state examiner. I know many of you need information for your own planning purposes, and although we do not have a definite date for the delivery of the modular, I want to give you time to adjust your plans.
First, Open House originally scheduled for this Thursday is postponed. We are also going to push back the beginning of school until at least Monday, August 21. This is not a definite date, I expect to be able to give you the new dates for Open House and the first day of school soon. Thank you for your patience. It will be worth the wait!
