Fish Fry season has come to an end, and what a successful fundraiser it was this year! Despite difficult weather conditions and rising food costs, together we raised over $27,500 for our school.

This has consistently been our biggest fundraiser, and it takes a lot of volunteering and generosity from our staff, families, and supporters to make it work. Thank you to everyone who came to eat with us each week, but especially to RTS in Georgetown who consistently supports us by ordering for their staff each week. Thanks to all of our staff, parents, grandparents, and community members who volunteered their time, donated baked goods, and helped out in any way.

There are so many "behind the scenes" tasks that have to be done to make our fish fry so successful. St. Michael School does not exist without the dedication of so many, and this is one of the things that makes SMS is so special.

Of course we must give special thanks to so many who went above and beyond to make the fish fry such a huge success. Special thanks to Janet Rockey, David Poole, Frank Fussnecker, Jason and Alicia MacRae, Kelly and Mark Gilkerson, Gary Defosse, Danny Polley, Carol Groh, Dorothy Snider, Bill and Sue Arn, Chassity Trout, Missy Latham, Emily Ernst, Anthony Garrett, Kelly and Bethany Heslar, Gabe and Erin Scott, Brian and Tonya Nead, Erika Burns, Christy Fetters, Teresa and Andy Offutt, and Gaile Sentney.

On top of being an important fundraiser, the fish fry has always been a great opportunity for our school community come together and get to know each other working toward a common goal. Heartfelt thank you to everyone!
